Monique attended Louisiana State University, where she studied Business Law and majored in Psychology.
But it was her creative side and love of acting that took her to New York, where she studied with renowned coach Bill Alderson at the Neighborhood Playhouse and a run on As the World Turns.
Next, Monique moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Film and Television working on the daytime Soap Opera, General Hospital for a contract role, represented APA, The William Morris Agency, and The Brokaw Company.
With a keen interest in working behind the camera, Monique was quickly promoted to Assistant Marketing Coordinator at Showtime Networks working with 130 cable affiliates across the United States. Then Great Expectations recruited her as National Director of forty-five centers.
This was where she excelled in applying her gift with the on-target placement of people in media events and television shows nationwide, including The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Her work caught the attention of The Los Angeles Times, featured on the cover of the Metro Section as the “Bubbly Sherlock Holmes.”
